Hello dear students
Welcome to the module : Smerte og farmakologiske behandlingsprincipper.
We are going to meet on September 3., Tuesday morning.  
We will have a series of lectures on the physiology of pain processing, which is a central step to understand how our treatments, be them pharmacologic or non-pharmacologic) work.
They are also very important to understand why some treatments do not work ;)
 During the morning, we will have a group activity. You were randomly assigned to one of three groups (A, B, or C) (see attached file groups opdeling). 

The activity consists of the following steps:
 
1. Before our class, read the common papers that is directed for all groups (selections from chapters of a book) and read the paper selected for your group. 
2. During the class we will have the group exercise, when you will pair up with your other group colleagues and discuss the topic and paper, and present orally you thought on it to the group. No need for slides, it is just an semi-informal summary of your thoughts and reflections about it. 
3. The we will have a hyggeligt common discussion about the topics.
 
 During the whole curse I will teach in English, but will speak in Danish during the discussions as much as I can, you you may speak to me in Danish or English (Jeg kan godt tale dansk, men endnu ikke godt nok til at undervise på dansk ;)
