Welcome to the course on Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Management at Aalborg University (AAU)

The course is set up in 3 workshop sessions, where the focus is for you to define, analyse and develop your PBL competences together with peers and in an exemplary way.

The overall purpose with the sessions is to give you some insights and tools how to work and learn in the PBL study environment at AAU. During the sessions you will meet presentations, discussions and group work combined with individual preparations. The course is building on your active participation.

The course is organised around three half-day workshops:

Workshop I Thursday 12 September 12.30 – 16.15 in room 3.161

Workshop II Wednesday 2 October 12.30 – 16.15 in room 3.161

Workshop III Wednesday 30 October 12.30 – 16.15 in room 3.160

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE COURSE CAN BE PASSED THROUGH ACTIVE PARTICIPATION, IF YOU HAVE BEEN PRESENT AND ACTIVE IN ALL THREE SESSIONS OF THE COURSE.  STUDENTS NOT FULFILLING THIS DEMAND HAS TO PASS A WRITTEN EXAMINATION AFTER THE COURSE.

Below you find the module description for the course followed by specific information and material related to the 3 sessions. As I develop the materials for the sessions along with the course (depending on your needs) there will be continual updates. Material for a particular workshop will however always be available when a session starts to support note-taking.

Please note that the first preparation task is uploaded for you on this page.

I look forward to meet you and to work with you!

All the best,

Pernille Andersson
